Barb Haselden of St. Petersburg, a candidate for the Pinellas County Commission, spoke to a crowd of 40 at Tiffany’s restaurant, taking about the court-delayed “Eight is Enough” term limits vote, the Penny for Pinellas tax, and the county’s infrastructure problems. Among NPRC members there were Angela Baptiste, Bob Brotherton, Tim Bryce, Pam McAloon, Ron Ogden and Loretta Wyandt. Haselden is running in a primary facing to retiring members of the state legislature, Larry Ahern and Kathleen Peters.
